Say something
There is exactly one inbox behind this site, and the person reading it is the same one who wrote the page you are about to complain about.
Write to: admin@whattodoinmalta.com
Everything gets read. A reply usually lands within a few days, not the same afternoon.
If a bay has changed since we last checked
This is the message worth sending most. A path down to the water gets fenced off. A boat crossing stops running. A kiosk starts charging for a sunbed that used to be free. A bus route quietly loses a stop halfway through a season. None of that reaches a page written from a distance until someone who was actually there mentions it.
Name the page, and where the new information came from if you have a source. Once it is fixed, the date at the bottom of that page moves to reflect it, so the correction is on the record rather than slipped in unnoticed.
Asking about a beach directly
Go ahead, though do not expect a number back. This site keeps no admission price, timetable or parking charge of its own on purpose, since all three change without telling anyone in advance and none of them belong to us to publish. A question aimed at one of those gets redirected to whoever actually runs the thing, the transport operator, the local council, whoever it is, rather than a guess dressed up as an answer.
Running a boat, a kiosk or a dive shop nearby
A factual error about your own operation gets fixed first, ahead of anything else in the inbox. Everything else has a short answer:
- Placement is not for sale. Nothing about where a beach sits in the ranking or whether it gets mentioned at all can be bought.
- Existing pages do not take paid links.
- Nobody else writes for this site in exchange for a link back to their business.
- A free trip changes nothing quietly. If one is ever accepted, the page it touches says so at the top, in plain sight, not as a footnote.
What becomes of a message you send
Your address and whatever you wrote sit here only to let us reply, nowhere else. No list gets built from it, nothing gets forwarded for marketing. Full version on the privacy policy.
One more thing
There is more on how this site is run, and how it is paid for, on the about page, if the short version above leaves a gap.
